A Bit About Me
I'm a native Texan who has lived and traveled across the United States. Before attending the University of Texas Pharmacy School, I attained a B.S. in Anthropology. As a student I traveled to Israel to assist in an anthropology project. I love meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds which my profession affords me many opportunities.
I spent most of my early career in the home infusion and specialty pharmacy industry, holding administrative and management positions for a variety of national and regional organizations. During these years I acquired a variety of certifications from the American Society for Quality (ASQ), including the Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) and the Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), and most recently in 2025 a Biopharma Institute GMPro (CPGP) certification.

In 2013 I transitioned to the role of surveyor of a wide variety of alternate site pharmacies for a national accrediting organization that included a multitude of 503A pharmacies. During this time I co-wrote a set of SOP's for compounding pharmacies that was sold through Med-Pass, and wrote a set of SOP's for a national accrediting organization. I have done multiple presentations about compounding compliance at conferences and training sessions including at: APC, ACA, ACHC, NHIA, APhA, VGM, Fagron, Michigan Pharmacist's Association, and others.

I coordinated and led a USP 800 working group that produced a "USP 800 Consensus Statement" regarding the new USP 800 standard. Since 2023 I have served with several consulting organizations while laying the groundwork for CCE. I am also active with the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding (APC), the American College of Apothecaries (ACA), and the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA). I am an ACA Fellow, and pending application approval for APC Fellow.

On a personal note: My wife Alison and I live in Loveland, CO along with her son and granddaughter, where we enjoy gardening, hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing and biking, and of course the many excellent brew pubs. We are the proud parents of four very awesome cats (Smudge, Thor, Ozzie and Maggie) that train us daily in the art of feline bliss.

My goal with CCE is to bring high quality, lower cost and supportive compliance tools to compounding pharmacies to help them achieve excellence.

I hope you will give us a look and consider CCE for your next consultation or accreditation.

Best Regards,
